PYRENEES
ROAD CYCLING HOLIDAYS

The staggering beauty and challenge of the Pyrenees is glorified annually by the Tour de France. The Col du Tourmalet, Col d'Aspin, Col d'Aubisque, Hautacam and Luz Ardiden all enjoy legendary status, and all are within easy riding distance of Escape To The Pyrenees (map here), along with many more. In short, we're in the hottest of hot spots. We also have plenty of easier routes, so whether you want a manageable first taste of the mountains or the challenge of your life you will find it here.

Choose from one of our guided and fully supported tours or enjoy our hospitality on a self-guided trip.

GRAVEL CYCLING HOLIDAYS

As legendary as the road climbs are, the gravel riding here is every bit as special. It's simply incredible, yet still relatively unknown. There's a vast network of gravel roads and trails, many of them scaling much higher than any of the roads and therefore offering the most breathtaking views. And can you imagine what the ski areas are like in summer? Yep, it's gravel paradise. Gravel riding in the Pyrenees is as exhilarating as it gets and virtually every guest returns each day saying the same thing: "That was epic!"

MEET YOUR HOST

Jamie moved to the Pyrenees in 2018 to chase and share his dream of the perfect cycling trip. With 15 years as a cycling journalist and racer, he brings an exceptional level of cycling expertise with which to help guests have the very best experience and maybe leave as a better rider.

Jamie is a natural and thoughtful guide, a skilled mechanic, a keen cycling historian, an expert descender, and a great source of training and nutrition advice. He's always very happy to share
all of this with guests.

Of course, he knows this area extremely well and can share lots of local knowledge on everything from the  best cafés, to the quietest climbs in peak season, the ideal order to ride different climbs on hot days, the hard-to-spot water points and much more.

MEET THE TEAM

We're fortunate to have some great people doing brilliant work to give
you the best Pyrenees cycling holiday imaginable
